Mechanically fixed system
In a mechanically attached roofing system, Leadax Roov is attached to the roof structure. Because the fastener goes through the insulation layer, the whole roof construction is fixed to the substrate.
A mechanically fastened roof system is easy to fasten, has a high storm resistance and the materials can easily be separated during renovation or deconstruction. After the Leadax Reinforcement Strips have been fixed, Leadax Roov can be installed.

Loose-laid ballasted roofing systems
In a loose-laid ballasted system, a ballast layer ensures that Leadax Roov is held in place. Examples of ballast are gravel and tiles. To apply this, a calculation must be made to determine that the building structure can hold this additional weight. In addition, this type of system can only be applied if the maximum slope of the roof is 3%.
The application of a Leadax Reinforced Strip (LRS) is also mandatory for a loose-laid ballasted roof system.
